I am honored and pleased to present a quick demonstration of how I believe technology can be used to enhance education by creating real world connections for students. I like to use search as a launch pad to demonstrate the ease with which we can integrate the exciting tools of the web into our daily teaching. No more copying the front page of a news paper for current events, actually watch current events as they happen. No more struggling to find material that authentically reflect each of the students in the classroom, now I can search, find and incorporate meaningful examples so any of my students can see themselves reflected in our materials. Thank you for the opportunity to share my excitement and ideas. I look forward to learning from each of you, as well!
